x-runner has established an alliance with Separett, one of the world’s leading urine separating toilet manufacturer. Quality and efficiency are the guiding stars for Separett. Their products are well designed to satisfy customers’ high demands on environmental impact, function and quality. Our customers are provided with Separett’s Villa model – a perfectly designed and flawlessly functional toilet that is comfortable and easy to use.
” x-runner has been collaborating with the Swiss Federal Institute of Aquatic Science (Eawag) on business development since 2011. The organisation has been pioneering cartridge based sanitation systems in Latin America and is standing out through the perception of their service as something worth paying for by their customers. We believe that x-runner has great potential to becoming an essential part in changing Lima’s urban sanitation landscape and to scaling their system beyond the city’s borders and replicating it outside of Peru. “

” x-runner offers a creative and innovative solution that contributes to tackle these problems and at the same time is accessible to the most vulnerable communities in Peru. From our point of view, x-runner has all the elements to scale and to replicate its methodology in different parts of the world. We consider that the added value of a social enterprise like x-runners is that besides helping hundreds of families, it also generates incomes to make the business sustainable and stronger during the years.”
